One of the many things I love about being a follower of Jesus is coming to know the REALITY of many things. The reality of the spiritual world, the reality of who Jesus is, the reality of my true nature, the reality of human behaviour…

You will know truth, and the truth will set you free.

John 8:32

And the REALNESS of feeling emotions, not trying to hide them, express them or fight them to be more positive…

Before God opened my eyes I taught a lot of #mindset work, not blindly whitewashing everything with #positivity but believing that our brains and energy certainly had power to create our reality…

It’s such a popular and pervasive belief right now, overtaking the world and bringing the church often with it…

I love knowing what’s real.

Whats true.

Jesus says to His followers ‘You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.’

They say Christian’s have ‘blind faith’ but what they don’t understand is… we don’t. We walk by faith yes because we have learnt we can trust God because we know Him and have a relationship with Him.

It is unbelievers who walk blindly in this world, listening to their own mind not expanding it or testing it, covering their ears to anything that might rock their worldview, they don’t know Jesus and what He says but instead take their understanding of Him from films, tv and using His name in place of  swearing.

The world grows increasingly dark as it has no light if Jesus to lead the way so has to rely on temporary fixes and affirmations to try and remain ‘positive.’

Be real. True joy comes from knowing God.
